The final phase of the Integrated Solution is developing and implementing your Project Success System, which is the infrastructure that will support the ongoing application of the Project Success MethodSM in your organization.
The system includes both organizational elements (such as project management policies and procedures) and technical elements (such as software tools). The objectives are to make the application of the methodology as effective and efficient as possible and to ensure consistency across all projects in your organization.
Although the Project Success Method is generic and applies to virtually all types of projects, your Project Success System must be tailored to the characteristics of your projects, your organization, your people, and your competitive environment.
System design considerations include:
- Projects (number, magnitude, complexity, uncertainty, time and cost constraints, etc.)
- Organization (size, structure, geographic dispersion, functional vs. project orientation, existing management systems, etc.)
- Competitive environment (competition based on differentiation, cost, speed, flexibility, etc.)
- People (technical expertise, interpersonal skills, leadership potential/experience, team culture)

- Project management policies and procedures

- Standard codes for resources and cost categories
- Standard report formats
- Project management support personnel
- Template project plans
- Project databases
Project Success System development
services often include:
- Acquisition/installation of selected software
- Customized software user training
- Loading of initial project plans
- Programming of customized modules/reports
- Development of project management support personnel
- Integration of the project management system with other management systems (e.g., accounting, time and cost reporting, work order scheduling, etc.)
Follow-up audits are also conducted by PSI to ensure the ongoing rigorous application of the Project Success System and to recommend further development/improvement.
